Osborn showcases new VSI range at Open Day

Osborn hosted an Open Day on 15 November at its Elandsfontein premises to promote the addition of the KPI-JCI Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher (VSI) to its product range.  Two brand-new VSI’s were on display, enabling customers to have an up-close inspection of these versatile 1500 and 2500 machines.

Osborn has already had remarkable success with the VSI, with both machines sold before they landed in SA, according to Shane Beattie, product sales manager.  They will be used at quarry sites for sand production.

Osborn sponsors IMESA Conference

The 2012 annual conference for the Institute of Municipal Engineering SA will be the 76th, and will take place at the Outeniqua Railway Museum in George. The IMESA conferences are always a major event on the engineering calendar,  and this year is expected to be a unique occasion. Technical tours will provide an opportunity to introduce delegates to engineering feats in the area, some being a first for South Africa.

Osborn launches new Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher

A full range of robust vertical shaft impact crushers has been added to the product offering of Johannesburg-based Osborn. Manufactured in the USA by sister company KPI-JCI, these versatile, low-maintenance vertical shaft impactors (VSIs) have proved their mettle in the USA, Canada and Europe.

With the Government’s planned increase in infrastructure spend in the second half of 2013, Product specialist Shane Beattie believes that the addition of the new VSIs to Osborn’s range means the company is perfectly-placed to reap some of the rewards of the accompanying demand for sand.
